Google Maps
This website uses the “Google Maps and Route Planner” function provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”) to display and calculate geographical information and directions. Google Maps may transfer data about your use of this website to Google, where it will be collected and used by Google. You can prevent such data transfer by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, in this case, no maps can be displayed. By using this website and not deactivating JavaScript, you declare your consent to the processing of your data by Google for the above purpose. YouTube plugins
Our website incorporates plugins from www.youtube.com, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
When you visit pages on our website that contain such a plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plugin is displayed on the website by notifying your browser. This transmits to the YouTube server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user accounts on these platforms. When you use these plugins, e.g., by clicking/starting a video or sending a comment, this information is assigned to your YouTube user account, for example, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plugin. Further information on the collection and use of data by the platform or plugins can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at the following link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
We use embedded YouTube videos in extended privacy mode. This means that YouTube does not store cookies for a user who displays a website with an embedded YouTube video player but does not click on the video to start playback.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. Their privacy policy can be found here : https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
All collected data in forms might be shown publicly and we send it to our workers or contractors to perform necessary actions (e.g., organize an event) based on the form submission.
Events
MACHT-AI is the organizer or co-organizer of events. For this purpose, we process personal data (name, contact details, etc.) of participants on the basis of Art. 4 (1) BayDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) subparagraph 1 letter e GDPR.
The data is processed for the purpose of preparing and conducting the respective events (e.g., creating guest lists and enabling access controls).
Depending on the type of event, MACHT-AI acts as a co-organizer alongside another cooperation partner. In such cases, the data collected will be transferred to this cooperation partner or, if necessary, to an external service provider, who may also only use the data for the proper execution of the event.
The data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the fulfillment of the tasks of MACHT-AI, but after 30 years at the latest.
Photo and video recordings, participation of media representatives
Photos and, where applicable, videos are taken at our events and used for the public relations work of MACHT-AI. Media representatives are also present at some events.
Your rights
You are entitled to the rights described above (see “Rights of the data subject”).
However, if you object to the processing of your data, you may not be able to participate in the event.
Regardless of this, you have the right to object to the publication of photos or videos in which you are recognizable. To object, please contact the inviting party.
Online forms
Personal data that you may submit to us via contact forms, registration forms, and similar web pages on our web servers will only be accepted with your consent and will be used exclusively for the purpose stated in the forms. Please note the relevant information on the forms.
Only personal data that is absolutely necessary is collected in all forms. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is explicitly stated in the form.
Your personal data will be deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled, unless you have given your consent to further contact.
You can revoke your consent at any time for the future. To do so, please contact info(at)macht-ai.de. Your data will then be deleted immediately.
By default, our forms software “Forminator” captures the IP Address for each submission to a Form. Other personal data, such as your name and email address, is also captured. This data is captured to organize our events and to inform you about upcoming events.
Electronic mail (E-Mail)
Information that you send to us unencrypted via electronic mail (e-mail) may be read by third parties during transmission. As a rule, we cannot verify your identity and do not know who is behind an e-mail address. Legally secure communication via simple e-mail is therefore not guaranteed. Like many email providers, we use filters against unwanted advertising (“spam filters”), which in rare cases may also automatically classify normal emails as unwanted advertising and delete them. Emails containing harmful programs (“viruses”) are automatically deleted by us in any case.
Applications
The personal data submitted by applicants will be processed for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits the relevant application documents electronically, for example via a secure contact form. If an employment relationship is established with an applicant, the data submitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. In addition, data may be transferred to other authorities or to authorities responsible for processing the employment relationship during the application and recruitment process. If no employment relationship is established, the application documents will be deleted in accordance with the relevant regulations after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests prevent deletion. Other legitimate interests in this sense include, for example, the burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
Data Retention
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
When visitors or users submit a form we retain the data for 30 days.
Rights on Data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Insofar as we process personal data relating to you, you as the data subject have the following rights:
- You may request information as to whether we process personal data relating to you. If this is the case, you have the right to obtain information about this data and other information relating to its processing (Art. 15 General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR). Please note that this right to information may be restricted or excluded in certain cases (see in particular Art. 10 of the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG)). If personal data about you is no longer accurate or is incomplete, you can request that this data be corrected and, if necessary, completed (Art. 16 GDPR).
• If the legal requirements are met, you may request the erasure of your personal data (Art. 17 GDPR) or the restriction of the processing of this data (Art. 18 GDPR). However, the right to erasure under Art. 17 (1) and (2) GDPR does not apply if the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority (Art. 17 (3) (b) GDPR). - If you have consented to the processing and the processing is based on this consent, you can revoke your consent at any time for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out on the basis of your consent until revocation.
- For reasons arising from your particular situation, you may also object to our processing of personal data concerning you at any time (Art. 21 GDPR). If the legal requirements are met, we will no longer process your personal data.
Further restrictions, modifications, and, where applicable, exclusions of the aforementioned rights may arise from the General Data Protection Regulation or national legislation.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to occasionally amend our privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy. We recommend that you read this privacy policy regularly to stay informed about the protection of the personal data we collect. By continuing to use the service, you agree to this privacy policy and its updates.
